The Panthers faced little opposition against Altavista as they completely dominated the match winning by a score of 7-0.
The Altavista win put the team in a rematch of the Bull Run title game against the Eagles of Clarke County. Clarke had won the Bull Run title by defeating the Panthers 3-2. David Letsen got the home team off on the right foot at the 18th minute mark of the first half as he scored on the Clarke defense.
At '|he 27th minute of the opeffifi'g half the Eagles were able to tie the score and it remained that way until the final minute of the match when Clarke was able to get the game winner on a rebound of a previously missed shot.
A win Tuesday at Radford will hopefully give the team the momentum to pick up a state title. The state semifinals and finals will be played at Radford University on Friday and Saturday.
