in death by her husband, Bennie Lee Atkins and a daughter, Rosie Helen Atkins.
She is survived by four sons, Roger L. Atkins of Hardy, Va., Benjamin A. Atkins of Chester Gap, Ricky D. Atkins of Winchester, and Michael G. Atkins of Denver, Colo., and three daughters, Frances A. Williams of Chester Gap, Barbara J. Updike of Front Royal and Donna L. Nicely of Nashville, Tenn.
Additional survivors include six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held June 3 at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. John Burke officiating. Interment followed at the Williams Family Cemetery in Chester Gap.
