James C. (Jim) Bennett, 80, of Front Royal died May 25 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was born March 7, 1923 in Rappahannock County to the late James W. and Bertha Elliott Bennett.
Mr. Bennett was a retired electrical supervisor with Texans Eastern Pipeline. He was 5 U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one star and the American Defense Service Ribbon.
He was a member of the IBEW and a lifetime member
