He said it would be called the Ann Spieker Track Foundation Inc., which will be known a* “Common Ground."
Baumgardner said he and Spieker, a farmer track coach, established the non-profit, nonstock foundation to raise funds to assist in the construction of a track and related sports facilities for the schools
“I think it's appropriate that we have Ann involved in this," he said. "She has worked with the track program for many, many years."
Baumgardner said he hopes the foundation will bring people together to work toward a common objective. No discussion followed the brief statement by Baumgardner.
