On the magazine racks this month are covers and inside stories in two national magazines by Franklin and Esther Schmidt of Woodville.
The December issue of Country Living Magazine features their cover and story about a Rhinebeck, N. Y. historic farm house decked out for the holidays.
Also on the stands is the winter issue of Victorian Homes, featuring their cover story on a Saratoga, N. Y. inn as well as their shoot of a historic home in Hampton, Va.
This month, their work also appears in Home & Design and five other national magazines: Country Sampler (Ten Hottest Collectibles for 2004), Country’s Best Log Homes, Log Home Design Ideas, Country Comfort and Victorian Decorating.
The Schmidts just returned to their home in Rappahannock County from a series of trips through Georgia and the Carolinas, Pennsylvania and New York where they photographed for a variety of magazines including Architectural Digest and Art & Antiques.
