She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Hartford, its oldest member and a member of the church aid committee.
Miss Phillips was formally employed at Sage-Alien in Hartford.
She is preceded in death by a brother. William D Phillips, three sisters. Eva Clarke. Mildred Phillips and Rhonda •Jones.
Miss Phi Hips is survived by a godson, Renard B. Croutch of Vernon, two devoted friends. Mercedes H Croutch of Vernon and Arthur Washington of Hebron. Conn.
Funeral services were held Dec. 9 at Union Baptist Church in Hartford Interment will be on Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. in the family cemetery on the farm in Amissville where she was born.
