Christmas Bazaar

Hearthstone's Christmas Bazaar has been rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the school two miles west of Sperryville on,Route 211. (See story page A3).

Winter sky-gazing

To celebrate the beginning of the winter sky-gazing season, He.arthstone School in Sperryville will hold an astronomy evening on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the school at 7:30 p.m., followed by outdoor sky-viewing at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome. (See story page A3).

Castieton breakfast

Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company will hold an all you can eat breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 7-11 a.m. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children five through 12, and four and under are free.

Artists ’ reception

Another artists' reception for Robin Purnell, Rex Slack and Renf) Ruffner will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 2-5 p.m. at The Packing Shed Gallery in Little Washington to accommodate friends who could not get there last Saturday. Christmas caroling

Sing along, bring your own instrument, or simply enjoy listening to the beautiful music of the season while sipping a cup of hot raspberry-apple cider on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Old Sperryville Bookshop at 44 Main Street in Sperryville. Santa coming to Amissville

Santa Claus will be at Gray Ghost Winery receiving visitors on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The winery, which is decorated for the season, is located at 14706 Lee Highway in Amissville. Questions about Santa’s visit can be directed to 540937-4869.

Holiday art show

The Toyy-Kuhn Gallery in Little Washington will present a holiday “gift” show of “Drawings & Doodles," an exhibition of original line-drawings and "working drawings’Vstudies for sculptures by the late artist and sculptor Robert E. Kuhn (1917-2000). The reception is on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. with live jazz. Everyone is welcome. The show continues through Jan. 30.

Calender signing

The famous “Men of Rappahannock County” will sign calendars at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill on Monday, Dec. 15 from 6-8 p.m. Calendars will be available for purchase the night of the event. Don’t miss what may be your last opportunity to get calendars autographed.
