don’t think that coffee is ever going to be ready! I like to have my morning coffee before / do anything. Oh, it smells so good. ”

Doesn’t that lament sound familiar? Coffee seems to increase in popularity each year. Yet, do you depend on coffee alone to start your day? While you’re waiting for it to brew, you might want to begin your day with the restorative power of a morning prayer for strength and guidance to deal with whatever your schedule entails. The psalmist, David, relied on God... “Morning by morning, 0 Lord, you hear my voice; morning by morning i lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” (Psalm 5:5)

While you enjoy your coffee, relax and remember your Heavenly Father’s love as He walks beside you. Trust God and expect answers when you seek them. There is nothing that you cannot handle with your hand in His.

Each week, visit with God in His sanctuary as you praise Him for His help each day and trust Him for the week to come.
