He met Mary Randolph Matteson in 1947, and in 1948, they were married in Chicago.
They later moved to Sperryville where Mrs. Jamieson still resides at their country estate, “#1 High Thicket.” They shared their love with each other for over 55 years. He is also survived by his brother, Emmett, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jamieson’s spirit, his sense of humor, his basic common sense were all appreciated by those who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed.
Family night will be on Friday, Dec. 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Clore English Funeral Home in Culpeper.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 13 at Saint Peter Roman Catholic Mission. 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, at 2 p.m.
