While waiting for Saturn to rise in the sky above the tree line, gazers will get close views of the moon, its craters and mountains, and see the planet Mars still very bright in the sky. If there is bad weather, the group will try again the next day, Sunday, and equipment will be set up again on the school's grounds for everyone to enjoy.

Drum Circle
Everyone is invited to a Community Drum Circle at Hearthstone School on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. All ages are welcome. No experience is necessary. Bring drums, percussion instruments and “found sounds" Hike a five-gallon bucket and sticks, or a cow bell and a stick, or a cooking pot lid and a wooden spoon.i This event is free.
