Living nativity
There will be a living nativity sponsored by the United Methodist churches on Dec. 13 from 6-8:30 p.m. It will be at the red barn beside the library on Route 211 at Sycamore Hill. The nativity can be viewed by driving by, or persons can walk up to the bam. The Methodist churches include Sperryville Methodist, Flint Hill Methodist and Willis Chapel.
Christmas festivities
On Saturday, Dec. 13 Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church will have its Christmas Banquet at 5 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall with Pastor Don McCann as guest speaker. On Sunday, Dec. 14, the church will hold Christmas Services at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. On Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. there will be preaching and singing with Pastor Don McCann of Kingsport, Tenn. Everyone is welcome.
Missionary to speak
The Woodville Baptist Church will host Tim Hood, former missionary to Chad and the Middle East, as guest speaker on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m.
