The events leading up to an automobile accident that took the life of 16-year-old Dylan Corbin in the early hours of Dec. 30 became clearer when charges were issued Saturday against some of the 22 students and friends who attended an unchaperoned all-night party that Dylan and his older brother, Nathan, 18, also attended.
Three juveniles under the age of 18, whose names can’t be released, and six teenagers under the age of 21, the legal drinking age in Virginia, have been charged with underage possession of alcohol by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
They attended a party which began at 9 p.m. at a home on Five Forks Road near Woodville where there was Old Milwaukee and Coors beer to drink as well as vodka and tequila. All of the alcohol was brought to the party.
Some of these youngsters are familiar names to many in Rappahannock County not only as athletic stars but also as the sons and daughters of long-time residents and contributors to the fabric of the county. Some currently are students at Rappahannock County High School while others
