“A lot of these kids come from good families, whose parents are outstanding members of the community,” said Commonwealths Attorney Peter Luke who brought the charges after a nearly two-month investigation by the Virginia State Police.
The six teenagers charged with underage possession of alcohol are Nathan D. Corbin, 18, of Sperryville, Rachel M. Sharp, 19, of Washington, Kori A. Alexander, 18, of Flint Hill, Gordon M. McGuire, 19, of Linden and Megan M. Murphy, 18, of Front Royal. Rachel Sharp was also charged with providing alcohol to a minor. The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office did not release the name of the sixth person because he has not yet been served but said he is a UVA college student from Warren County.
They all are scheduled to appear in court next month; the juveniles on March 11 and the others on March 9.
