Sufi Spring Social
A drumming and Sufi Spring Social will be held at the Belle Meade Retreat Center on Sunday, March 14 on Route 231, seven miles south of Sperryville. Drumming starts at 3 p.m; sufi dancing 4 p.m. Bring snacks, tea. For more information, contact Susan Hoffman at 540-987-9748.
4-H Livestock Club sale
The Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club is seeking items from the community for its first annual JUMBLE Sale on Saturday, March 27 at the Flint Hill Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers can buy refreshments, raffle tickets, and meet members of the club. Donations of small furniture (chairs, lamps, tables, rugs,) paintings, drawings, tools or books are welcome (no clothing, please). Contact Bob Clements (540-622-8484) to arrange to have items picked up on March 20. Proceeds go to support activities of the club.
County clean-up
The Ragged Mountain Resource Center center is organizing a county-wide roadside clean-up in April. Begin organizing and planning neighborhood, club, school and church groups and scouting out locations.
