Unusually heavy entry forecasts full and exciting races for Rappahannock Hunt’s Point-to-Point Races Saturday March 7 at Thornton Hill Farm, two miles south of Sperryville on Route 522. It has just been announced that schooling over the regular race course will be permitted, starting Sunday, March 1, and every day thereafter until the day of the races. However no schooling will be allowed on the Pair Race course at any time. This course, slightly over three miles, has been especially designed to assimilate normal, natural hunting terrain. Rep John O. Marsh, Jr., is not ready to accept a Department of Agriculture statement that it has no funds with which to continue
