Obituary
James Johnson, Jr.
Washington resident
James Oliver Johnson, Jr. of Washington died Feb. 25 in Rappahannock County.
He was an inspector for the Natural Gas Company,, and was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church of Washington.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Charolette A. Johnson, four children, Tterry W. Ferguson, Donna Williams of Culpeper, Thomas C. Williams of Front Royal and Tammy Richards of Sperryville.
Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, two sisters, Mary M. Glasker of Philadelphia, Pa., Juanita Aylor of Culpeper and one brother, Clinton Greenleaf of Philadelphia, Pa.
A funeral service was held March 6 at Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington with Rev. Herbert Johnson of Madison officiating. Interment was in the Poles Family Cemetery in Washington.
