“The Classroom Store.” And teachers Patty Hottinger, Jennifer Gray and Lois Thomas were awarded a grant for “Yes, You Can Touch,” a paint-your-own pottery project for their pre-school students.
At the high school, seven new projects received funding. Art teacher Joy Sours and Spanish teacher Pam Stewart will use their grant to complete a Spanish mural. Teachers Jared Nieters and Haf Davies received funding for reading credit system class sets. Technology teacher Ron Vickers will be able to purchase a digital camera for technology competitions. Drama teacher Jean Elizabeth will establish an improvisational acting troupe, “Improv Live,” which will provide more outlets for creativity by drama students.
