Throughout the years, RAAC has showcased local performers in live concerts.
• On April 23 at 8 p.m., RAAC welcomes Cliff Waldron at the Theatre at Washington with tickets available only at the door. Cliff Waldron is a legendary bluegrass guitarist who was influential in the 70s in modernizing and expanding the bluegrass repertoire, bringing such tunes as “Fox on the Run” into the genre. This year he was inducted into the Society for Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) Preservation Hall of Greats.
• On May 21 (in the afternoon) RAAC will hold its Annual Membership Party, including an invitation only outdoor reception for members. Talented Rappahannock harpist Beth Levick will entertain. RAAC welcomes all new members to join with others who appreciate RAAC’s 22 years of enriching community life in Rappahannock County.
