I wanted to send along my
views on the Feb. 26 story in the Rappahannock News, “Tbens charged with alcohol violations,” as well as the “Our View - Formula for Tragedy” editor’s comments.
Firstly, do you not think that the Corbin family and friends have all been through enough? It hadn’t yet been two months since Dylan had died in that tragic accident when those headlines were printed. I believe headlines like that as well as the editor’s view on the accident were completely and totally inappropriate.
Yes, newspapers have to sell, and yes, there is freedom of speech and a need to inform the public, but is it all worth it at the cost of someone else’s grief, especially When this newspaper does not even have any local competition with
