Two key Rappahannock officials, County Administrator John McCarthy and School Superintendent Bob Chappell, see glimmers of hope in Richmond that the General Assembly can reach a budget agreement by Saturday that will be adequate to fund the county’s key programs.
Like county and city officials across Northern Virginia, their eyes this week will be on the budget conference in Richmond.
