Lynne Fournier will use her grant to hire guest musicians for her “Beat on the Drums” project. And teachers Joy Sours and Pam Stewart will be able to fund their “Empty Bowls” project, which will produce hand-made ceramic bowls and a dinner to raise money for the hungry. The “Empty Bowls” project will also include participation by the school’s Leo Club and the culinary students.

Headwaters expressed gratitude to the many generous donors who make these grants possible. Their generosity is a direct reflection of the tremendous support in this community for public schools and teachers.

The Headwaters mission is to foster educational excellence by cultivating the cooperative spirit and resources of the whole community to benefit all students. For more information about the organization, call 675-1819.
