girls’ softball
The sign-up date to register girls for the spring softball season with Piedmont Softball Association, Inc. has been extended to Saturday, March 13.
PSA is the local affiliate of the Babe Ruth League, Inc., and offers regular intra-and interleague play, as well as highlycompetitive All-Star post-season tournament competition for most age groups.
Rappahannock, Culpeper, and Fauquier girls ages five through 18 years (as of Jan. 1, 2004) are eligible to register. The fee is $40 per girl aged 12 and under and $45 for each girl 13-18 years old. There is a $5 discount for each additional girl after the first registered from the same household. Players new to PSA must bring their original birth certificate at time of registration.
Registration will be conducted at Bill Payne Auction Gallery, Route 211 in Amissville (located between Early’s Carpet and Mayhugh’s Store) from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
