Special to the Rappahannock News

Tb celebrate the wearing of the green and the search for a pot of gold, the Ki Theatre will sponsor a St. Patrick’s Day benefit at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill on Saturday, March 13 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Music fans will be treated to an evening of rhythmical “foot-tapping Irish, Scottish and Shetland Island dance tunes.” Original works of art by wellknown local artists, photographers, and artisans will be raffled.

Art lovers will have an opportunity to buy a chance to win a painting by wellknown Rappahannock watercolorist Lois Manookian, a special piece of pottery by master potter Jeanne Drevas, and several Rappahannock scenic photographs by Ray Boc and Richard Lykes.

The spring fund-raising event will benefit Ki Theatre’s programs. A $15 cover
