mother of a 21-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son, I will tell you that as parents we try to establish a rapport of trust with our children at that age. You don’t second guess their every move and you try to trust that they will do the right thing.
The “Our View” of the editor sounds very close to a judgment call to me. And it has come to my attention that the editor of the Rappahannock News is not even a parent herself! How can someone who is not a parent have views on what a parent should or should not have done? Doesn’t sound right to me.
Another question that comes to mind is why the guest at that party who was 28 years old allowed it to go on as well. Why wasn’t there a judgment call made on that person or
