Allan Comp, a Woodville resident, was awarded recently the National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils 2003 Supporting Organization of the Year award.
RC&D Councils are nonprofit organizations assisted by the Department of Agriculture to facilitate local resource conservation and development initiatives. Comp and the agency he works for, the U.S. Office of Surface Mining, were presented the national award.
