Mr. Young was born April 8, 1927 in Grayson County, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Bays and Mabel Emma Wells Young, and a brother Dean Wells Young.

Mr. Young was a 1949 graduate of Fairfax High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a retired diesel mechanic, dairy farmer and game fowl breeder.

He loved his family, country, coonhounds, chickens, deer hunting, and spending time at his cabin in Grayson County.

Mr. Young was a member of the Fairfax American Legion, Centreville Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2168, Fellowship of the Moose and the United Game Fowl Breeders Association.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sarah Virginia Reed Young; three daughters, Martha Lou Young Dove
