• On Thursday, May 6 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street.

• On Tuesday, May 11 the Special Education Advisory Council for Rappahannock County public schools meets at the elementary school library at 3:45 p.m. for a review of reading and math programs 2004-05. The meeting is open to the public. At 7:30 p.m., the School > Board meets in the Band Room of the high school for its regular monthly meeting. • On Wednesday, May 12 the Washington Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall and holds a public hearing to consider the adoption of the Town’s budget and waterworks and wastewater budgets for fiscal 2004-2005. • On Friday, May 14 the Rappahannock County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will meet at 10 a.m. at the county courthouse.
