include as many as eight types of sandwiches and wraps, two or three kinds of salads, two or three soups, and freshly baked goodies. There’s always something on the menu for vegetarians. There’s a sunny deck for outdoor eating or in colder, rainy weather, relax at one of the indoor tables.
Over in the market, there are plenty of grocery selections, soup, fresh produce, usually from the Sunnyside farm, dairy products and a meat counter. In the coffee and tea room you can enjoy hot drinks, scones, cookies and ice cream. My daughter and I seem to find our way into Sunnyside or Rae’s Place at Sunnyside several times each week.
Rae tells me that opening at the end of this month will be the Burger Bam at Sunnyside’s rest stop which will serve Kobe beef organic burgers, salads, a kids’ meal and plenty of cold soda fountain drinks. Keep an eye out for the grand opening. It’s a
