ing the shore, others were discovering the attraction of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Newhall recorded the beauties of both regions.

On one of his annual trips to New Hampshire, Chris Goodine discovered a treasure trove of approximately 400 of Newhall’s photographic plates dating from 1888 to 1910, with spectacular scenery in and around the Wliite Mountains. Views of Walden Pond, as well as photographs of important buildings in the Lynn and Boston area were also included.
