Long jump
Eric Phillips, a junior first year track athlete for the Rappahannock boys’ track team leaps 17 feet, 6 1/2 inches for fourth place in a tri-county competition at Manassas Park High School on May 5. He has jumped 19 feet, 3 inches which qualifies him for the District Meet in the long jump next week. Both Manassas Park and Madison high schools beat Rappahannock’s team May 5.
