felt like a tornado, meteorologists said it wasn’t.
Louis Rosa, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Sterling regional office said the NWS doubts there were tornadoes anywhere in Virginia, but said that violent, 40 to 60 mile an hour gusts of wind caused similar damage.
Bob Ryan, meteorologist for WRC-TV News 4 and part-time Woodville resident said that it was a “very, very severe storm.”
