Cheerleading tryouts
Try-outs for the 2004 fall JV and Varsity cheerleading squads will be Tuesday, May 25-Thursday, May 27 at the Rappahannock High School Students will practice cheers and chants from 6-8 p.m. Actual try-outs are May 27.
Benefit golf tournament
Piedmont Softball Association announces its second annual golf tournament June 11 at 1 p.m. at South Wales Golf Course. A registration fee of $150 per foursome includes golf carts, green fees, lunch, awards, and prizes including a three-month membership to Old Town Athletic Club in Warrenton. Proceeds go to the girls’ softball program for ages five through 18. Deadline for registration is June 1. Spring garden party
The Trinity Episcopal Church Garden Guild and Mary Ann Kuhn invite the community to the third annual “Great Spnng Garden Party" at the Middleton Inn on Saturday.
