Jeanie and Dick McNear of Gid Brown Hollow have hosted six foreign exchange students in the last ten years. Reinhardt Lynch won a coin toss in Voter Registrar Nancy Leake’s office Wednesday morning to become the fifth member of the new Washington Tbwn Council. At the end of voting Tuesday night, Lynch was tied with Charles Eldred for the fifth seat with 49 votes each. In Rappahannock County Circuit Court last week, tne Rappahannock Public Schools reached a compromise settlement with Erika Virginia Sinnott, a former student, and her parents and paid $15,000 to settle the case. The case was brought about when Miss Sinnott claimed injury due to a school bus accident which occurred on November 9, 1990. Miss Sinnott is now 15 years old and attends Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.
