A group of citizens opposed to the paving of Grimsley Road sought legal counsel this week to stop what they consider the first step in destroying the rural atmosphere of their community.
Confusion, controversy and high emotion continue to surround the paving of Grimsley, a one-lane, mostly-gravel road that runs between Crest Hill Road (Route 647) and Ben Venue Road (Route 729) near Flint Hill.
“Those who are against the paving of Grimsley Road have sought legal counsel and are working to see what course of action is available,” said Tom Walker, who lives at High Meadow Farm.
