She remembers Mrs. Updike was sitting in a chair reading her bible and then laying it over on top of the bed. Suddenly the bedding and bible were blown away, and the kitchen stove fell over her as the house was lifted off its foundation and moved. She didn’t know what was happening but she knew she was very afraid.
