The Rappahannock County Garden Club met Sept. 15 at the firehouse in Washington and several ribbons were given.
“Back to School” design class blue ribbon was awarded to JoAn Getsinger. The blue ribbon for novice designer in the same class was awarded to Katie Burney.
“Harvest Time”—a still life using fruits, vegetables and other plant materials was design class II. The blue ribbon for this class was awarded to Celene Siira.
Horticulture, which consisted of asters, herbs and ferns, boasted blue ribbon winners
