Grace M. Tucker

Amissville resident

Grace Mary Tucker, 89, ol Amissville, died Sept. 12 at her residence.

She was bom in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived in Amissville for the past 30 years.

Mrs. Tucker worked as a tax adviser for H & R Block in Culpeper for 20 years.

She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and the Republican Womens Club.

Mrs. Tbcker is survived by her husband of 63 years, William G. Tucker, one son, William G. Tucker, Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y. and a daughter, Marcia G. Pollack of Voorburg, The Netherlands.

Additional survivors include nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton with Rev. Lawrence Murphy officiating. Interment was private.

Tressle G. Davis

Family in Flint Hill

Tressle Geneva “Pat” Davis, 81, of Front Royal, died Sept. 16 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Mrs. Davis was bom July 15, 1923, in Staunton, Va., daughter of the late Lewis and Sadie Madison Bell.

She worked in the toy department at Newberry’s and then in the cafeteria at Ressie Jeffries Elementary School and was a long-time member at Marlow Heights Baptist Church in Front Royal.
