June 2: Hyperfitness

Borders in Warrenton welcomes Sean Burch on Saturday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. USA Today cajls Sean Burch “The undisputed poster boy of ultimate fitness.” National Geographic cites him as “one of the world’s top extreme adventurers.” His Hyperfitness program prepared him for his climb up Everest without supplemental oxygen, as well as his historic records in the North Pole Marathon and his run up Mount Kilimanjaro. Most recently, he scaled a record 63 previously unclimbed mountain summits in Tibet in just 23 days. What does Hyperfitness mean? It means setting goals and attaining them, in the process discovering that we are stronger and tougher than we knew. And it means taking the workout to a whole new level. As Sean explains, most exercise routines are based on isolation movements that won’t change your body or build real strength. His innovative exercises and explosive drills are designed to build the overall strength, quickness and endurance of a world-class athlete. And the exercises are fun and varied! But the physical training is just one part of what it takes to be Hyperfit. Sean's program focuses on three important, linked components - Hyperstrength, Hyperfare, and Hypermind. As essential as the workouts are, combining the workouts with the nutritional guidelines and mental conditioning techniques covered in Hyperfitness provide the building blocks to achieve all our physical and mental goals.
