Howard was in San Juan, Puerto Rico when he heard the news about the shootings. Maybe it hit him harder because he was so far from home. Whatever the reason, he knew immediately that he needed to help. And when he heard about the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund he knew he could put that together with his motorcycle and do some good!
The ride will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3. Registration begins at 6 a.m. at Rappahannock County High School. The ride leaves from there at 8 a.m. sharp. There is a $20 donation per bike. But Howard emphasized that you don’t need to have a motorcycle. Anyone is welcome to stop by and make a donation! Or you can call Howard or Del directly.
