Grab your dancing shoes and head for ^jenyvdle on Saturday, June 2. (Remember, the Charles , Nick and Nora, will be there with Asta.)

Tte Rappahannock Animal Welfare League, KAWL, is putting on its most significant event of 21fLnear ~ ^e Houn’ Dawg Hoedown. The RAWL motto for this event is “Be There or Be Square .(Sandy will be there with Annie.)

The fun gets going at 6 p.m. at the Old Schoolhouse m Sperryville. The dinner is catered by the Epicurious Cow - ECOW. You'll be dancing to the music of the Morrison Brothers Band, and stepping to the Calls, allemande left and do-si-do. (The Bumsteads are planning to bring along Daisy.)

But there’s more to the evening; the silent auction goes all night long, with a number of very special, tasteful items which have been carefully assembled for you to bid on. (You can probably spot the Londons there with White Fang.)

Pay attention to the awards: Best Dancers, and the Best Outfit. Winners in each category will earn prizes supplied by Horse Country Saddlery in Wairenton. (Be on the lookout, too, for Sergeant Preston of the Yukon - he’ll be with Rex.)
