Donations for Senegalese children
Hearthstone’s students have helped sew teddy bears to give to underprivileged children in the West African nation of Senegal. Culinary teacher Margaret Dunn and her lower school students also helped out, making and selling doughnuts to raise funds for much-needed supplies. Second grader Alessandro Lauria and his mother Kristine will distribute the supplies and toys when they go there next month.
