School’s female athlete of the month for November and December is Rachael Carrier.
“This young lady has spent several years on the varsity basketball team in relative obscurity. However, during this season, she has taken on more of a role, not only in scoring, but also in leadership," said Wakefield Athletic Director Mike Kenney. “She has become the Lady Owls’ most consistent outside shooter and is a big reason why WCDS has been able to stay in contention in most games.”
