transfer station ofT the Shade Road near Rappahannock Co. High School. Participants may either take the bags they have filled to the Flatwood facility or to the Amissville facility, or they may contact the VDOT office to let them know where a pick-up will be taking place, and VDOT will then provide the service of picking up the bags along the roads where they have been left. Participants are asked not to take wood or metal to the Flatwood facility, and if bags are left by the road at their pick-up location, it is requested that they be put safely by the road, but not placed in a dangerous location for the VDOT trucks to stop to pick them up.

The local VDOT office number at Flatwood is 540987-8939. Contact persons are Ritchie Lillard and Jennifer Johnson, who will be glad to help arrange for bags to be obtained and collected.
