Lovers9 Leap at Middle Street

The members of the Middle Street Gallery invite you to join them to celebrate romance throughout this leap-year February. “Lover’s Leap" is a special show of works dedicated to Love (It’s not all a bed of roses!) and there will be ample opportunities throughout the month for visitors friends to be creatively involved. Come on in and fill your senses with art to see, music to hear, and refreshments to taste.

The fun begin! at the Opening Reception on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 2 to 6 p.m. In addition to meeting the artists and eiyoying refreshments, guests will get to start the bidding on “The Unbound Heart* - a fabulous hand-made heart-shaped box filled with hearts created by local artists. There also will be a drawing for a box of chocolates.

Many of you have asked “When do we make the valentines?* So, once again, the Gallery will set up a table laden with all the supplies you need to make an exceptional, oneof-a-kind valentine for that special person in your life. Drop in on Saturday, Feb. 9 and/or Sunday, Feb. 10, to create your unique gift.

Join us for “Music to Love By" Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17, from 2-5 p.m. We will be entertained by a very creative Rappahannock musician. Forrest Marquisee on guitar and mandolin.

On Sunday, Feb. 24, from 2-6 p.m. there will be a Closing Party, again with refreshments. It is at this event that the “The Unbound Heart" will be awarded to the highest bidder. It could be you!

The Middle Street Gallery is a non-profit artists’ co-op. The Gallery is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is located next to the Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia.
