independent ad agencies, Bayer Bess Vanderwarker. Prior to forming his own agency, he was Chief Creative Director and on the board of Needham Harper Worldwide in New York. Moving to Charlottesville in the early 90s, he now serves on the board of Charlottesville Tomorrow; cochairs the Albemarle PEC board, and is on the board of the Virginia League of Conservation Voters.
“Tony has been active leader with the PEC Board for nearly a decade,” said Christopher G. Miller, President of PEC. “We are excited to have someone with such vision, tenacity and positive spirit as Chairman.”
Mr. Vanderwarker went to Andover and Yale and graduated from New York University. He served in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Guinea. Mr. Vanderwarker and his wife Anne live in Keswick.
