• All you can eat breakfast and bake sale hosted by the Rappahannock chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), Washington Fire Hall, 7 -11 a m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 10 Benefits the local NWTF chapter. The NWTF is a nonprofit organization that helps conserve land for the habitat of wild turkeys and other wildlife. • Youth Soccer Challenge Competition hosted by the local Knights of Columbus Council 6328. All boys and girls, ages 10-14, are invited to participate in the local level competition for the 2009 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., field 4, at the Culpeper County Sports Complex off Greens Corner Road. Culpeper. Each participant will be given 15 penalty kicks to hit five target areas with differing point values. The goal is to accumulate the most points. Winners will progress through local, district, and state competitions. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters in New Haven, Conn. Proof of age and written parental consent required. Participation is free. Pre-registration recommended, same day registration accepted.
