In reality, the Sixes began with the idea of alpaca fanning about two years before actually establishing Morning Moon. Six explained that he was tiring of the commutes and travel required of him for his engineering job. He longed to work for himself in a business that was more enjoyable, relaxing and allowed him to spend more time with his family.
One day Dianne came home with a ball of alpaca yard and told Mike to feel it. It was the softest thing either of them had ever held.
