while riding bicycles on Harris Hollow Road with his Tour d’Epicure guests, he saw a bear. And a third bear was seen by his wife, Diane, on Hittles Mill Road coming home from Wakefield. Two weeks ago Stella, their yellow lab, chased a bear up one of the pine trees in their backyard.
Food Pantry
Rappahannock County Schools added Food Pantry information to students’ back-to-school folders according to Kathy Eggers, volunteer coordinator for Plant a Row’ for the Hungry. As a result, the last few weeks have seen a marked increase in new and mostly younger pantry households
