Smith family is currently moving toward the Piedmontese breed of cattle with their Angelic Beef brand.
The farm will work with Buckland Market to provider hayride from the market into the field and bams to see the cattle and calves. The Ashland Basset Hounds will also be on hand during the farm tour.
"The Smith's commitment to agriculture and their cooperative working relationship with the Buckland Farm Market is intended to keep this farm intact, viable, and productive into the future," according to farm tour literature.
Visitors are encouraged to follow directions to Buckland Farm Market, park there, and take the hayride to the farm.
One of the county's newest wineries will make its debut on the tour this year. Vint Hill Craft Winery, located on Lineweaver Road in Vint Hill, is housed in a renovated dairy bam that dates back to 1900 and offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the wine-making process.
