Varsity Soccer

The team finished last week off with a hard fought 1-1 tie to state-ranked Wakefield School. Ian McCool netted the lone goal. They tied Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy on 9/21, 3-3 in a non-conference match. Ryan Won had two goals and an assist. Brian Shafran had the other goal and an assist. Cooper Weir earned the other assist. The team's record stands at 2-12 overall, 1-0-1 CAC and 1-0-1 in the I)AC.

JV Volleyball

The JV volleyball team continued its roll with a 2-0 win over rival Wakefield School on 9/17. The scores were 25-16 and 25-18,Our strong serves, several aces and kills lead to an easy victory. Shannon Weir had five aces, two kills; Sonia Mehta had three aces, one kill, one tip; Ashton Yamell had 100 percent serves. Middle School soccer

WCDS beat Linton Hall on Friday, Sept. 11, 5-3. The Owls had a 4-0 lead at the half but gave up two goals and a penalty kick in the second half while scoring once. Scoring players were Tim Johns, Seong Won and Shivam Mehta.'
